Thrilled to share that the ground-breaking 6G-MUSICAL project was presented at the Spring School 2024!”

The 6G-MUSICAL groundbreaking project was presented at the Spring School 2024, held between April 15th and 18th at the Faculty of Computer Science at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Romania!

The Spring School, inaugurated and founded in 2018, is an initiative undertaken by the Applied Distributed Systems research group, housed within the Faculty of Computer Science, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, in collaboration with the Orange Educational Program. This esteemed event is specifically dedicated to students at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate levels, as well as academic staff from technically oriented faculties. It offers a unique opportunity for participants to enhance their understanding and expertise in the realm of Distributed Systems.

This year’s main topics for 3 full-day activities were: cloud/Edge Computing, Network Communication Architectures, Virtualisation Technologies, 5G Networks, and Security in Distributed Systems.

6G-MUSICAL represents a pioneering endeavour that converges radio sensing and communication technologies, demonstrating new frontiers in Radio Frequency (RF) communication. This groundbreaking project seeks to harness the potential of 6G wireless technology to redefine the landscape of RF communication by integrating advanced radio sensing capabilities with cutting-edge communication protocols, 6G-MUSICAL aims to unlock unprecedented levels of efficiency, reliability, and versatility in RF communication systems. The project’s motivation, along with its vision, objectives, and use cases, was outlined.

The Spring School program was specifically designed to inspire and connect faculty members (students and teaching staff) who share an interest in the above-mentioned fields.
