Prof Christos Masouros Shares 6G Insights at IEEE PIMRC 2024!
The 6G-MUSICAL project is proud to share that Professor Christos Masouros from University College London (UCL) gave a tutorial talk titled “Resource Reuse and Multifunctionality: The Road to Sustainable 6G Networks” at the prestigious IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications (PIMRC 2024).
PIMRC is one of the world’s leading conferences on wireless communications, held from September 2 to 5, 2024, in Valencia, Spain. The event brought together researchers and industry experts to discuss the latest ideas and solutions in mobile and wireless communication technologies.
In his talk, Prof. Masouros focused on how future wireless networks can do more while using fewer resources. He explained how 6G systems can combine communication and sensing into one system, making networks more efficient and environmentally friendly. His ideas also showed how this approach can reduce waste, save energy, and make 6G networks a key part of creating a more sustainable future.
The 6G-MUSICAL project is about designing more intelligent, sustainable wireless networks.
