IISA Conference Presentation on AI-Powered Spectrum Sensing

We are thrilled to share that our team recently participated in the International Conference on Information and Systems Architecture (IISA) held in Crete, Greece, from July 17-20, 2024. At this prestigious event, we presented our latest research on “AI-Powered Spectrum Sensing Capabilities for Future Networks Beyond 5G,” a significant contribution to advanced telecommunications.

About the Paper:

Our paper, prepared by Orange Romania in collaboration with the University of Suceava, explores the design and development of an AI framework for spectrum sensing. This framework is tailored for Beyond 5G (B5G) technologies, aiming to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of spectrum management.

High Accuracy: Our AI algorithm achieved an impressive accuracy of 97.1% in classifying ORO’s 4G and NR 5G commercial communications.
Advanced Capabilities: The framework is designed to support the development of future 6G Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) solutions, leveraging AI to monitor and map communication spectra effectively.

This research is highly relevant to the 6G-MUSICAL and iSEE-6G Horizon Europe projects, which aim to advance 6G Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) solutions. By leveraging AI, these projects seek to enhance the ability to monitor the communications spectrum and accurately categorise the data into specific classes.
