The 6G-MUSICAL project was proudly represented at the IEEE ComSoc-SPS Joint Workshop on Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), held on 17 May 2024 at University College London. Organised by Prof. Christos Masouros, a key member of the 6G-MUSICAL consortium, the event served as the first workshop of the IEEE Emerging Technology Initiative (ETI) on ISAC.

This high-profile, one-day event brought together leading researchers, academics, and industry experts to explore the evolving landscape of ISAC technologies, which are central to the vision of 6G. The workshop featured invited talks, a panel discussion, and networking sessions, offering participants valuable insights into cutting-edge research and future directions in integrated communication and sensing.

Among the topics covered were:

• Random signal processing for ISAC

• Massive integrated communication and sensing

• Cognitive radar techniques

• Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces

• Cell-free distributed MIMO networks

The presence and contributions of 6G-MUSICAL’s partners in such initiatives play a vital role in fostering collaboration, strengthening scientific dialogue, and ensuring the alignment of project goals with global research trends.
