Best Theoretical Paper Award for 6G-MUSICAL at the Business Model Conference 2025!
The 6G-MUSICAL project proudly participated in the Business Model Conference 2025, held on June 11–12 in Oulu, Finland, where academic and industry leaders gathered to explore the intersection of innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable business design.
We are thrilled to announce that the paper titled:
“Business Model and Sustainability Perspectives Framework for ICT, Illustrated by Joint Communications and Sensing in 6G”
received the Best Theoretical Paper Award at the conference!
Authored by project members Dr. Oxana Gisca, and Dr Marja Matinmikko-Blue, the paper presents a novel framework that links emerging Joint Communications and Sensing (JCAS) technologies in 6G with viable and sustainable business models for the future ICT ecosystem.
The award highlights the project’s commitment to not only pushing technological boundaries, but also ensuring that socioeconomic and environmental sustainability are embedded in the design of next-generation networks.
