6G-MUSICAL Showcased at IEEE WCNC 2025 with Focus on ISAC
The 6G-MUSICAL project was proudly represented at the IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC) 2025, held in Milan, Italy, from 24–27 March.
On the opening day, UCL colleagues delivered a tutorial titled “Integrated Sensing and Communications: From Signalling to Network-Level Design.” The session explored ISAC technologies from foundational signal design to distributed, network-level implementations, highlighting research contributions from 6G-MUSICAL.
The project’s presence continued with a technical paper presentation on “Geometry Optimisation in Cooperative ISAC Networks” during the “Integrated Sensing and Communication I” track, and with 6G-MUSICAL’s involvement in Workshop 12 on ISCC (Integrated Sensing-Communication-Computation for IoE).
Christos Masouros also moderated Panel-03: Integrated Sensing and Communications on the Road to 6G, which brought together top experts from academia and industry to discuss the evolution of ISAC towards standardisation and real-world deployment.
6G-MUSICAL’s contributions to these sessions underscored its active role in shaping the future of multifunctional 6G wireless networks.
