6G-MUSICAL Showcased at ICT 2025 with Keynote from Prof. Izzat Darwazeh!
The 6G-MUSICAL project was proudly represented at the 31st IEEE International Conference on Telecommunications (ICT 2025), held on April 28–29, 2025, at the Hotel Splendid in Budva, Montenegro. ICT is a prestigious annual conference series with a strong tradition since 1991, bringing together international researchers, innovators, and industry experts in the telecommunications field.
Keynote Speech: New Techniques for Communications and Sensing in 6G

Prof. Darwazeh, a key member of the 6G-MUSICAL consortium, delivered an inspiring keynote highlighting cutting-edge approaches to communications and sensing in the context of 6G networks. His talk addressed the pressing need for unified frameworks that enable joint communication and sensing capabilities, a core research direction of the 6G-MUSICAL project.
He explored novel signal processing techniques, integration strategies, and system-level considerations that align with the project’s goals of enhancing spectral efficiency, energy-aware transmissions, and multi-functional wireless infrastructures.
With sessions focused on both theoretical advancements and real-world applications—including AI, IoT, and future network architectures—ICT 2025 served as a valuable platform for disseminating 6G-MUSICAL’s scientific contributions and engaging with the wider telecom research community.
