6G-MUSICAL Publication Accepted at CSNDSP 2024 in Rome!
We are thrilled to announce that our latest research paper has been accepted for presentation at the prestigious 14th International Symposium on Communication Systems, Networks and Digital Signal Processing (CSNDSP 2024), which will be held from July 17 to 19, 2024, in Rome, Italy!
Our paper addresses a critical challenge in Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC): the design of fully connected hybrid analog-digital (HAD) beamforming for multi-user, multi-beam systems. Traditional methods involve a two-step process, often leading to the loss of key communication and radio-sensing constraints. Our innovative approach tackles this issue head-on by directly designing the HAD beamforming to preserve these essential constraints.
Key Highlights of Our Research:
- Innovative Approach: We propose a method for maintaining communication and radio-sensing constraints throughout the design process.
- Advanced Algorithm: Our iterative alternate optimisation algorithm optimises the weighted sum rate while adhering to power and sensing constraints.
- Outstanding Performance: Simulation results reveal that our method achieves performance levels close to a fully digital precoder and surpasses existing fully connected hybrid beamforming techniques for ISAC.
Papers accepted for presentation are published in IEEEXplore, while selected papers are published in prestigious sponsoring journals.
