6G-MUSICAL Promoted at SPIE Photonics West 2026 in San Francisco!
The 6G-MUSICAL project was showcased at SPIE Photonics West 2026, one of the world’s leading international events for optics and photonics, held from January 17–22, 2026, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, USA.
Consortium partner MENHIR Photonics represented the project at the exhibition, promoting 6G-MUSICAL and its vision for advancing next-generation wireless communications through innovative technologies at the intersection of photonics, sensing, and communications.
Photonics West 2026 brought together the global optics and photonics community, featuring more than 100 technical conferences and approximately 4,000 technical presentations covering topics such as biomedical optics, industrial lasers, optoelectronics, microfabrication, displays, quantum technologies, and emerging photonic systems. The exhibition hosted over 1,500 companies, offering an excellent platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and business development.
MENHIR Photonics engaged with industry stakeholders, researchers, and technology developers, highlighting how photonic solutions contribute to key 6G-MUSICAL research areas, including integrated sensing and communications, high-frequency front-ends, and advanced hardware architectures for future 6G networks.
The presence of 6G-MUSICAL at SPIE Photonics West 2026 strengthens the project’s visibility within the global photonics ecosystem and fosters new opportunities for collaboration across academia and industry.
