6G-MUSICAL Presented at the UAIC Spring School 2026!
From 22 to 24 April 2026, the 6G-MUSICAL project was once again featured at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași (UAIC) Spring School 2026, organised by the Faculty of Computer Science at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași in collaboration with the Orange Educational Program.
The Spring School provides an interactive learning environment where undergraduate, Master’s, and doctoral students, researchers, and teaching staff explore the latest developments in networking, distributed systems, cybersecurity, and next-generation mobile communications.
During the event, attendees learned about the 6G-MUSICAL project and its research towards future integrated communication, sensing and localisation technologies for 6G networks. The presentation introduced the project’s motivation, architecture, objectives, and use cases, highlighting how the convergence of communications and sensing can support applications such as smart mobility, high-accuracy localisation, drone monitoring, and sensing-as-a-service.
Educational events such as the UAIC Spring School play an important role in disseminating research findings beyond the consortium and in engaging future scientists and engineers. By presenting ongoing Horizon Europe research to students, the event helps bridge the gap between academic education and real-world innovation while encouraging young talent to contribute to Europe’s digital future.
The 6G-MUSICAL consortium is proud to continue supporting knowledge exchange and inspiring the next generation of researchers through educational and outreach activities.
