The 6G-MUSICAL project was presented during the UAIC Spring School 2025, held from 31 March to 3 April 2025 at the Faculty of Computer Science, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași (UAIC), Romania.

Organised by the Applied Distributed Systems research group in collaboration with the Orange Educational Program, the annual Spring School brings together Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students, researchers, and academic staff with an interest in distributed systems, cloud and edge computing, cybersecurity, 5G, and emerging 6G technologies.

As part of the programme, participants were introduced to the 6G-MUSICAL project and its vision of integrating wireless communications, sensing and localisation to support future 6G networks. The presentation showcased the project’s objectives, innovative research directions and representative use cases, demonstrating how integrated sensing and communication technologies can enable applications such as high-precision positioning, 3D object reconstruction, drone detection and intelligent mobility.

Beyond presenting the project’s technical vision, the session provided students with valuable insight into how collaborative European research projects are organised and implemented under the Horizon Europe programme. By connecting academic learning with real research and innovation activities, the event encouraged students to explore future opportunities in telecommunications research and international collaboration.
