The 6G-MUSICAL consortium successfully convened for its Month 17 General Assembly, held on May 26-28, 2025, at the University of Oulu in Finland. This 3-day hybrid meeting marked a pivotal moment in the project’s lifecycle as it moves closer to the first European Commission review.

The plenary brought together representatives from all project partners, combining in-person and virtual participation, to assess the project’s progress and strategise the next phases of implementation. The agenda was structured to support both high-level management coordination and in-depth technical discussions.

Each Work Package Leader presented progress to date, current challenges, and planned next steps. Task level progress was reviewed in detail, highlighting collaborative efforts across institutions and showcasing integrated developments.

Key Highlights from the General Assembly as partners focused on reviewing project modifications and management status, followed by a discussion on upcoming deliverables due in the next reporting period. These sessions ensured that all partners are aligned on updated objectives, compliance timelines, and reporting obligations.

On the second day, in-person partners had the opportunity to visit the University’s premises and explore its cutting-edge research laboratories, gaining valuable insights into the facilities supporting 6G-MUSICAL’s technical activities.

It also featured intensive technical discussions, particularly within WP3 and WP4, addressing the integration of Machine Learning algorithms, KalmaNet design, and cross-task synergies. Specific attention was given to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), data analytics workflows, and the status of internal collaboration reports.

The consortium began coordinated planning for the upcoming EC review, outlining reporting priorities and finalising contributions from all partners. A dedicated wrap-up session ensured the alignment of next actions and established clear responsibilities for the review process.
