6G-MUSICAL Expertise Showcased at the LG-KAIST 6G Grand Summit 2024!
We are pleased to share that Prof. Christos Masouros, from University College London (UCL), a key academic partner of the 6G-MUSICAL consortium, was invited to speak at the 6G Grand Summit 2024, held on October 11, 2024, at the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS).
His talk, titled “Security and Privacy in Integrated Sensing and Communication Systems,” addressed crucial challenges and emerging solutions in the convergence of communication and sensing, an area that lies at the heart of 6G research.
While the presentation was not officially part of the 6G-MUSICAL project, the topic closely reflects the project’s focus on Joint Communication and Sensing (JCAS) and the importance of security and privacy in such integrated systems.
The summit, co-hosted by KRISS, LG Electronics, and KAIST, brought together global experts to discuss the future of 6G under the theme “6G Convergence and Radio Technologies.” The agenda included keynotes, a technical symposium, and exhibitions from major industry players and research institutions working on advanced 6G technologies.
The 6G-MUSICAL consortium congratulates Prof. Masouros on this recognition and is proud to be aligned with thought leadership shaping the global 6G agenda.
