6G-MUSICAL Consortium Meets in Bucharest for the M31 Plenary Meeting!
Last week, the 6G-MUSICAL consortium gathered in Bucharest, Romania, for its Month 31 Plenary Meeting, kindly hosted by Orange Romania. Over two productive days, partners reviewed the project’s overall progress, aligned upcoming activities, and coordinated the next steps as the project enters its final implementation phase.
The plenary covered key management updates, including project planning, upcoming deliverables, and progress across all technical work packages. Partners presented the latest developments in their respective activities, reviewed the status of ongoing Proofs of Concept (PoCs), discussed laboratory trial planning, and coordinated the remaining technical and dissemination activities.
A particular highlight of this plenary was a joint collaboration session with the Horizon Europe iSEE-6G project. The two consortia exchanged experiences on Proof-of-Concept implementation, discussed Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) architectures, explored opportunities for joint standardisation contributions, and shared perspectives on common project challenges. The session reinforced the importance of cross-project collaboration in accelerating innovation and maximising the impact of European 6G research initiatives.
Beyond the technical discussions, the meeting provided an excellent opportunity for partners to strengthen collaboration, exchange ideas, and reinforce the teamwork that continues to drive 6G-MUSICAL forward. With clear action points established and the next milestones defined, the consortium remains committed to advancing cutting-edge ISAC technologies for future 6G networks.
While the technical discussions remained at the heart of the plenary, the meeting also provided valuable opportunities for networking and strengthening the relationships that underpin successful collaboration. From engaging discussions throughout the day to an enjoyable social dinner in the heart of Bucharest, partners had the chance to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate the progress achieved together.
