6G-MUSICAL Co-Organises a Workshop at IEEE JC&S 2025: Advancing Joint Communication and Sensing in 6G!
The 6G-MUSICAL project is excited to announce its role in co-organizing the Workshop on Multi-Disciplinary Approaches to Joint Communication and Sensing in 6G at the IEEE Joint Communication & Sensing Symposium (JC&S 2025), which will take place in Oulu, Finland, between January 28 to 30, 2025.
This workshop, organized by the EU SNS 6G-MUSICAL, BF 6GBridge – WISEC, and EU CONVERGE projects, will gather experts from diverse domains to explore how the integration of communication and sensing in 6G introduces new technical, business, and regulatory opportunities and challenges.
The workshop is designed to foster cross-disciplinary discussions and knowledge-sharing, focusing on:
- Architectures, algorithms, and technical enablers for ISAC in 6G
- Practical approaches, trials, and demos showcasing real-world advancements
- Theoretical limitations and breakthroughs in JC&S
- Spectrum aspects, including operations in various frequency bands
- Business opportunities, models, and strategies for 6G
- Regulatory considerations and their impact on ISAC adoption
- Sustainability considerations and how 6G can support green initiatives
- Novel approaches to JC&S and convergent technologies
