The 6G-MUSICAL project was proudly represented at the FTH Advanced Connectivity Showcase, a high-impact event for the UK’s telecommunications research ecosystem held on 1 December 2025 at The Science Museum in London (UK).

The event was organised by the Federated Telecoms Hubs (FTH): a collaborative network uniting 35 leading UK universities and research institutions to accelerate breakthrough innovation in advanced connectivity technologies.

The FTH Advanced Connectivity Showcase brought together industry leaders, investors, government representatives, and academic researchers for a day of insightful presentations, networking, and exhibition of cutting-edge work spanning five key domains:

• Advanced radio systems and spectrum innovation
• AI-native networks and automation
• Emerging communication technologies
• Next-generation network architectures
• Security, privacy and trust in connectivity systems

Consortium partner University College London (UCL) participated actively in the showcase, presenting research and connecting with stakeholders interested in the future of 6G-era communications and integrated connectivity innovations. The event featured engaging keynote talks, elevator pitches, and an exhibition floor showcasing 50+ projects and innovations at the forefront of advanced connectivity research.

This participation offered an excellent opportunity to raise the visibility of 6G-MUSICAL within the UK’s research and industry ecosystem, strengthen collaborative ties, and highlight how project outcomes contribute to the wider connectivity research agenda.

Events like the FTH Advanced Connectivity Showcase play a key role in translating academic research into real-world impact and fostering partnerships that propel the evolution of future networks.
