The 6G-MUSICAL project was represented at the IEEE Computer Society Annual Symposium on VLSI (ISVLSI 2025), held in Kalamata, Greece, from July 6 to 9, 2025.

The ISVLSI Symposium is a well-established international forum that, for more than three decades, has brought together leading scientists and researchers from academia and industry to explore emerging trends and novel ideas in VLSI. The 2025 edition covered a wide range of topics, from circuits, systems, and design methods to new applications of VLSI in areas such as security, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things. Its multidisciplinary scope makes it a key venue for presenting pioneering research in next-generation communication systems.

As part of the project’s scientific contributions, one paper was presented by researchers from University College London (UCL), a 6G-MUSICAL consortium partner, titled:

“Reliable, Secure, and Spectrally Efficient ISAC using Distributed Multiuser MIMO and Non-Orthogonal Waveform”

The paper presented a hardware-validated study of Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), focusing on distributed multiuser MIMO architectures and non-orthogonal waveform design. The results highlighted enhanced reliability, security, and spectral efficiency in dynamic wireless environments, contributing to the objectives of 6G-MUSICAL in shaping the next generation of wireless communications.
